Flyscreens & Doors
Pesky insects are part of the Australian way of life, so to help protect ourselves and our homes, a full range of insect screens is available to suit all window types, hinged and sliding doors.
Window flyscreens use a durable extruded aluminium frame and flyscreen doors also use an extruded aluminium frame as used in the flyscreen doors for structural integrity. A range of basic locks is used for hinged and sliding doors. Hinged doors are supplied with 2 hinges as standard and a single lock and sliders are fitted with a Bass latch as standard.
A selection of flyscreen mesh types is available for both windows and doors, to suit the application and specific requirements.

Options
- Ultramesh Flyscreen is made using a fibreglass core with a black PVC coating, which has been UV stabilised for longevity. This flyscreen type is the most common type seen in the marketplace.
- Paw Proof Flyscreen flyscreen is manufactured from PVC coated flexible fibreglass and is recommended for homes where the screen will see harder than normal use; for example, pets that may climb on or scratch the screen. It is not indestructible, but Paw Proof flyscreen is twenty times stronger than standard fibreglass screen and is also UV stabilised.
The nature of this material means that this type of mesh will not finish as taut as other flyscreen mesh types, but still sits flat within the screen - 316-grade Stainless Steel flyscreen has a PVC coating over stainless steel flymesh and boasts the longest outdoor life of any flyscreen. This screen type is non-flammable and fire resistant and is a requirement for bushfire prone areas. It is compliant to Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) 40.
All Diamond Grille doors will be supplied with Ultramesh flyscreen as standard but can be upgraded upon request.
